Texas Law, Class of 2029

Preparing for law with a foundation in business and service.

I recently graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a double major in Canfield Business Honors and Accounting and a minor in History. In the fall of 2026, I will begin at The University of Texas at Austin School of Law.

My work has centered on external relations, teaching and mentorship, and technology-informed business operations. I am drawn to professional environments where strong writing, careful preparation, and trust matter.

Profile

Grounded in business, preparing for law.

Throughout my classes and work experiences, I try to be the person who listens closely, organizes the details, and communicates clearly. That mix of analytical work and relationship-centered leadership is the foundation I will bring to law school and to the legal profession.

Focus Areas

Three through-lines in my work

01

External Relations & Stakeholder Management

As a student associate in UT Austin's Office of the President, I supported high-touch guest experiences and helped make institutional details easier to track, explain, and execute.

  • Facilitated Salesforce implementation to track guest information and payments for $560,000+ of President's Office football ticket inventory.
  • Designed a Microsoft Excel inventory system for ticket allocations across UT Austin colleges, schools, and units, including ticket counts and delivery methods.
  • Served as a tour guide for the President's guests, offering personalized overviews of academics, campus culture, and student life.
02

Teaching, Mentorship & Leadership

I enjoy helping students find their footing, sharpen their writing, and feel known inside large institutions.

BA 324 and BA 324H Business Communication

  • Served as lead teaching assistant, grading 100+ papers each semester with specific feedback on content, style, and formatting.
  • Substituted for the professor in BA 324, developed rubrics, and helped resolve grade disputes with consistency and care.

MAN 101H Leadership Challenges

  • Co-taught a discussion-based leadership class and mentored 10+ first-year students as they adjusted to college life.

Texas Honors Business Association

  • As president, managed an 11-person executive team and matched 200+ students in big-little mentorship groups.
  • Oversaw alumni and corporate sponsor events, coordinated with university administrators, and helped recruit the CEO of KPMG US for a speaker event.
03

Business Judgment & Technology

In both the classroom and workplace, I look for ways to use new technology to clearly communicate information and improve processes.

UTIMCO Summer Intern

  • Supported operational due diligence for $70+ billion in endowments managed on behalf of the University of Texas and Texas A&M systems.
  • Analyzed an external manager's operations and suggested seven process improvements to help protect UTIMCO's investment.
  • Built a Power BI dashboard from legal terms across approximately 280 investment deals and presented the work to UTIMCO's CEO and CFO.

HFW Industries

  • Publish technical articles, LinkedIn posts, and mass emails to generate Google Search traffic and sales leads.
  • Oversee implementation of artificial intelligence tools to redesign the company website and improve the online job application process.
